Videoart.ch
Platform for sale and hire of unlimited video works by contemporary Swiss artists

Since it's beginnings STAMPA has recognised video art as a future art form and has been exhibiting it eversince.
Key works by Jochen Gerz, Marcel Odenbach, Peter Weibel, Nam June Paik, General Idea, Vito Acconci, Pipilotti Rist or Zilla Leutenegger had their first Swiss presentation at this Gallery.
STAMPA has collaborated closely with national and international artists, but also presented important video stations as The Kitchen (NY), Electronic Arts Intermix (NY), De Appel (Amsterdam) or the Gerry Schum Productions.

These activities have generated an archive of early video works, a selection of which will be presented at the exhibition VIDEOKUNST.
The precise form of presentation, corresponding to the content of the works, reflects the variety of ways in which video works, as a medium of visual arts.
STAMPA offers numerous video works for sale or hire.

Simultaneously to the internationally oriented program of STAMPA, Videoart.ch introduces itself within this exhibition. Videoart.ch is a platform for sale and hire of unlimited video works by contemporary Swiss artists.
Listing more than twenty artists - among them Lutz & Guggisberg, Yves Netzhammer, Annelies Strba, Eric Hattan, Com & Com, Elodie Pong or Peter Regli – the edition also includes Pipilotti Rist’s early works which had been presented for the first time by STAMPA, as well as works by Roman Signer, Zilla Leutenegger and Till Velten - artists who are equally represented by the gallery.
