Photography is a central media in Daniela Keiser’s oeuvre and conceptually used in installations, objects, collages and photographic series. Her highly original works are based on a thematic interplay of art, economy, politics, media and landscape, and characterised by surprising combinations of signs, images and languages. In doing so the act of translation – from one language into another, from one image into a narration and from one story back into an image – is a significant aspect too.
