“Stimulus of Light“ is focused on the notion of light and its significance for nature and photography. The exhibition title refers to central aspects of the artistic work of Eva-Fiore Kovacovsky which is determined by an experimental use of photo-reproduction techniques as well as studies of biology and botany. Kovacovsky’s examination of different notions of nature and concrete phenomena of flora has taken shape here as photogrammes, photographic objects and three-dimensional imprints. These new work series are added by a selection of early pieces which show impressively the whole spectrum of her artistic depiction, recreation and showcasing of nature.
