Véronique Arnold is a French artist whose prime medium is embroidery. Inspired by philosophical and poetic writings by Chuang Tzu and Marcel Proust, her textile works uniquely combine images and texts, presenting themselves as philosophical journeys into history, literature and nature. Arnold’s artistic approach questions mankind and human nature, such as the commonly well distinguished notions of dream/imagination and reality, or the conscious and the unconscious.
