VALENTINA STIEGER
Furnished Desire

15. February 2022 – 7. May 2022

Against the background of omnipresent lifestyle paradigms, Valentina Stieger addresses intimate moments of everyday life which she locates in the field of tension between individuality and conformity. Her works, which move along the interfaces between painting, graphic art, and sculpture, refer to social norms that are implicit in the visual worlds of advertising, fashion, or design with its economic criteria.

The exhibition is accompanied by a work-related publication that was created in collaboration with the author JuliaKubik.
