I was seized by the urge to speak, to follow the course of my feelings and thoughts. I didn't know where it would lead me. I still don't, but this urge is accompanied by the hope that it will awaken other sensations.
I am trying to describe a state of ecstasy that is both extremely luminous and extremely painful.
A body full of light, yet robbed of its perception. (...)
The shock of falling in love, like a plunge into hell.
The connection between this extreme intensity and the urge to speak, to write, to embroider: a howl in the blinding light.
It was so clear.
A sudden clarity, an unexpected but unbearable opening.
A feeling beyond words: one must hold onto the thread, keep embroidering (...)
